She is originally from Chicago, but is a Pacific Northwest transplant, having been raised in Vancouver, British Columbia and Washington State. She come from an athletic family, a hockey oriented family dynamic. Her brother and father are both in the hockey hall of fame and are avid athletic advocates. Michelle chose to enter a profession that would be able to help people and provide a means of utilizing the law to protect those individuals who needed it.
